Half way there!

I just passed the 3 week mark! I'm halfway through the MTC already, but it feels like we just got in last week. This past week has been pretty intense. We started teaching a daily "TRC" investigator, which is someone they bring in for us to teach as an investigator. Ours is a real investigator, and it's really cool to be able to really teach people. Our real investigator, Mercedes, is progressing well. Her mom was/is a Mormon, but she told all of her kids to 1. Never speak to a Mormon and 2. Never read the Book of Mormon, both of which she has done now. We've become good friends with her, and it's cool to see how she's changing. She's visibly a lot happier every time we see her, and she seems truly honestly to want to learn. (sorry if my words don't make sense, I'm trying to learn a new language, ok?)
My life here at the MTC is always fast, and there's hardly any time to slow down and take a breath, so Sundays are truly a day of rest. Tuesday devotionals are a nice break as well, and P-Days are heaven, because i get to wear jeans all day. My last P-day was fun, but for different reasons. I had to fly down to Las Vegas to meet with the Mexican consolate to approve my visa, so I flew down with a group of 7 or 8 sisters for a day. it was fun, But i didn't get to go to the temple that day, and I had to get up at 4 in the morning. but I get to go to the temple today, so I'm wicked excited for that.
